Strange Cirrus Clouds...

Taken near sunset, March 28th, 2016.  The cirrus clouds are bunching up in clumps, becoming thickerer towards the westerly sun.

 

The video clip is turned sideways due to a computer glitch.

There's no way I can fix it because of other computer glitches! Arrrrgh!!!!

Cloud shaped like a Star Wars "Star Destroyer" (the big mile-long white ship that first appeared in the first scene of the first film, chasing a tiny space vessel.

El Nino rainstorms show up late!

But better late than never.  It has rained so much in California that some of the reservoirs are very, very full. Such as the Santa Cruz's Loch Lomond.

The area around Loch Lomond now looks like Michigan. And people can boat on it again!

And Loch Lomond's not the only one. Shasta is getting full too.

Pretty soon California will be as green as Ireland.

Record Floods in Louisiana

Starting in NW Louisiana at Shreveport-Bossier City and continuing down the rivers that flow into the Mississippi and Lake Pontchartrain.  Oh, and New Orleans had severe thunderstorms the night before last.  Flooding is expected to exceed the records set during the 1983 Floods, also during an El Niño event.
